Who is Mata Hari by the way?
Mamoona Ali Kazmi RECENTLY, a report in the Indian media dubbed Pakistan as the modern day Mata Hari in Sri Lanka. The main purpose of this propaganda is to create doubts between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, which are having close defence ties. Some times India blames Pakistan of providing sub-standard arms to Sri Lanka and some times propagate that Pakistan is providing arms to both Sri Lankan army and Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). In fact these are Indian gimmicks to divert the world attention from India to Pakistan. Such tirade against Pakistan is uncalled for since there are lots of reports that India is providing defective weapons to Sri Lankan army, while at the same time smuggling more sophisticated weapons to LTTE. In International Relations, every country goes for its own interest. Keeping this in view it becomes difficult to understand that what Pakistan would get by supporting LTTE, as Pakistan has no interest in strengthening the LTTE. Similarly, every country is free
