Each Municipality is responsible for their west and south boundary roads. For example, the boundary road between Rocky View and Wheatland County to the east, is the responsibility of Wheatland County and Rocky View is responsible for the boundary road with the MD of Big Horn to the west. All boundary roads with the City of Calgary, the City of Airdrie, the Town of Crossfield, the Town of Chestermere and the Town of Cochrane are their responsibility. That includes the entire right of way and any traffic control signs approaching those roads.
