Who is the best disco band in music industry?
Bee Gees were probably one of the most famous “commercial” disco groups. They had a unique sound and prior commercial popularity and Saturday Night Fever spring boarded their disco period. Groups like GQ, Tavares, Sister Sledge and Shalimar and KC & the Sunshine Band were all very popular disco groups/bands during the disco period along with R & B/Disco band icons, Kool and the Gang, SOS bands and others. The bands had unique sounds based on where they were from…the Miami Sound, New York, English/European and Southern California areas all had their individual styles. Disco music “although not referred to as disco today” has evolved and the disco sound is still quite evident in much of today’s commercial and dance music communities.
