• The Clamelle Chlamydia test kit is suitable for sexually active individuals aged 16 years or over who: • Do not have any symptoms (asymptomatic) of Chlamydia but have had unprotected sex and are worried they may have the infection • Have changed their sexual partner • The Clamelle Chlamydia test kit is also suitable for individuals who do not have a Partner Notification (PN) slip. What is the Partner notification (PN) slip? A PN slip is just that – it is a note that should be given to inform sexual partners of anyone who has had a positive test result, that the sexual partner is at high risk of having Chlamydia too, and should urgently seek treatment. Partners who have a PN slip DO NOT need to be tested before being treated. Who is the Clamelle Chlamydia test kit not suitable for? The Clamelle Chlamydia test kit is not suitable for individuals who have symptoms suggestive of Chlamydia AND/OR are under 16 years of age.
