Who is the most balanced TV anchor between NBC, ABC , CBS and all the cable news shows?
What you see on TV is entirely controlled by the companies that run the networks. The anchors and reporters are employees of those companies and must do as instructed or they get fired. Here is a list of the companies that own the networks and a description of their biases (in my opinion): Viacom (CBS) CBS Originally they were firmly liberal/democrat. A few years ago, the Bush administration went after Viacom in a big way and Viacom lost. The FCC continuously imposed fines and the administration crushed them with unfavorable regulation. They reached a tacit agreement whereby they fired Dan Rather and spun off CBS as a separate company. The separate company (just named CBS now) is currently firmly Republican and a McCain supporter. Their reporting reflects this bias. Katie Curic doesn’t attempt to cover her bias in anyway. Bob Scheifer is more subtle, but still a Bush/McCain guy when he is on the air.
