Who issues birth certificates in Finnish language?
In many cases, civil service office of municipality is authorized to issue birth certificates, marriage certificates, and similar civil registration documents in Finnish or in other cities. If you need a new Finnish birth certificate due to loss or for newborn baby, you may contact the Embassy of Finland Consulate General in Washington, D.C., New York, or Los Angeles.
