Who Owns and Operates Dogskin Lake Lodge and Outposts?
Brothers Shad and Jamie Torgerson, along with their families own and operate Dogskin Lake Lodge & Outposts. You will notice a Midwestern flair to just about everything they do as they were born and raised in northern Wisconsin and have hunted and fished all their lives. Shad holds a master’s degree in aeronautical engineering from Purdue University and has been involved in various aspects of aircraft design and flight testing before coming to Dogskin. Jamie graduated from the University of Michigan and has degrees in financial planning and hospitality management. For the last 12 years Dogskin has been owned and operated by the same family, so you can expect their wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to offer you the best fishing trips possible.
