Who owns THSL? How is the site supported?
Technically the site is “owned” by SusanwithaGoodBook. She paid for the vBulletin License and is paying for the site hosting. The site currently is a pet project of hers, a learning experience (and a gift from her dh). We hope to make the site self-supporting by adding Advertisements from vendors of products of use to homeschoolers, such as book stores, curriculum vendors, and the like. If the site makes money we plan to use it to pay for continued site hosting and future software upgrades. If we make enough money to pay the Administrators and Moderators that would be great too. Right now everyone here is working on a purely voluntary basis.
