Who shot John F Kennedy?

President Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas, at 12:30 p.m. CST on November 22, 1963, while on a political trip through Texas. He was struck by at least two bullets. Texas Governor John Connally, seated ahead of Kennedy, was also struck by a bullet, but survived. Lee Harvey Oswald was arrested in a theatre about 80 minutes after the assassination and charged at 7:00 p.m. for killing a Dallas policeman by “murder with malice”, and also charged at 11:30 p.m. for the murder of Kennedy (there being no charge for “assassination” of a president at that time). Oswald denied shooting anyone; he claimed that he was being set up as a “patsy”, and that photographs of him holding the alleged murder weapon were fabrications. Oswald was fatally shot less than two days later in a Dallas police station by Jack Ruby, in front of live TV cameras.

Lee Harvey Oswald shot John F. Kennedy. Oliver Stone and the conspiracy industry to one side, the Warren Commission report provides credible evidence that Oswald acted alone and shot the President. While it’s more interesting and, in a strange way, more comforting to believe that a single, unbalanced individual could never have accomplished the murder of a popular president, the fact is that he did just that.

The song is “Sympathy for the Devil” (Rolling Stones) was written by singer Mick Jagger and guitarist Keith Richards, though the song was largely a Jagger composition. The lyrics include references to the assassinations of John and Robert Kennedy. The recording sessions for the track were in progress when the latter was killed, and the words were changed from “Who killed John Kennedy?” to “who killed the Kennedys?” Rolling Stones – Simpathy for the Devil Please allow me to introduce myself Im a man of wealth and taste Ive been around for a long, long year Stole many a mans soul and faith And I was round when jesus christ Had his moment of doubt and pain Made damn sure that pilate Washed his hands and sealed his fate Pleased to meet you Hope you guess my name But whats puzzling you Is the nature of my game I stuck around st. petersburg When I saw it was a time for a change Killed the czar and his ministers Anastasia screamed in vain I rode a tank Held a generals rank When the blitzkrieg
