Who should not use the Kegelmaster?
Pregnant women should consult their physician prior to use. During the six week postpartum period after the birth of a baby or for a minimum of six weeks after genitourinary or pelvic surgical procedures, unless specifically recommended by your physician, The KegelMaster should not be used.Also, when using other intravaginal devices such as tampons, diaphragms, pessaries, and women with a history of urinary tract infections.
The Kegelmaster should not be used during the first six weeks after giving birth. However, some pregnant women use it to help prepare for childbirth. But always consult your physician first. Also, women who have had genitourinary or any other pelvic surgical procedure should also wait six weeks before using the Kegelmaster unless given specific instructions by their physicians. Additionally, women should not use the Kegelmaster — simultaneously with any intra-vaginal device, such as a pessary, tampon or diaphragm.
