College Goal Sunday is a charitable effort of the not-for-profit Kentucky Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (KASFAA). Many organizations and individuals contribute to the program’s annual success, but the primary sponsors are the Lumina Foundation for Education, the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA), The Student Loan People, PNC Bank and KnowHow2GoKY.

The Lumina Foundation has provided a start-up grant for College Goal Sunday in cooperation with the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators, but the success of the program relies on the volunteer efforts of hundreds throughout Michigan, especially volunteer financial aid professionals from the Michigan Student Financial Aid Association and school counselors from the Michigan School Counselor Association. Educators and their associations across the state have pitched in by providing publicity assistance, site locations, volunteers and other help along the way. Partnership for Learning, www.partnershipforlearning.org, coordinates all efforts.
