Who Uses RSS Feeds?
Welcome back to our series on RSS feeds for the newbie. In past articles we covered some of the very basic principles of RSS Feeds and syndication and we are going to continue that them in today’s article about who uses RSS Feeds and their popularity. So who uses News Feeds for syndication? Well, just about everyone. There are two basic sides to this story. You are going to have one side constantly creating feeds and another side constantly subscribing to these feeds. Recent use of the RSS Feed system has literally exploded. Large news organizations were the first to jump on this sensation, and companies such as BBC, The New York Times, CNN, MSNBC, USA Today – you name it, they all use the RSS Feed system for syndication and to learn about new news happening when it happens.
