Who was the best Boston Bruins Player ever?
Many people would say Bobby Orr as he has gone down is history as probably the best offensive defenceman of all-time. He won the Norris Trophy, which is awarded for best defenceman, 8 times, the Conn Smythe, for MVP of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, twice, the Hart Memorial, awarded for MVP of the regular season, 3 times as well as many other awards. He is most famous for a goal that he scored while flying through the air against the St. Louis Blues in the 1970 Stanley Cup final which the Bruins won. He won two Stanley Cups with the Bruins in 1970 and 1972. He was inducted to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1979.
