Who will take over GKR when Robert Sullivan retires?
Although Stacey Karetsian is already responsible for most of the day to day decisions and running of the style, it seems extremely likely that ultimate power of veto will pass to Robert Sullivan’s eldest son Matthew, the only member of the family apart from Robert, who still practices karate. As Stacey Karetsian has had such close control of the business operation, and has been a loyal friend to the Sullivan family for so long, it’s virtually inconceivable that this position would change. Having said that, it’s unusual to see the heads of karate styles retire it seems to be something that you do until the day you die.
