Only three Iowa Corn Indy 250 winner’s trophies exist in the world, and Dario Franchitti owns two of the old-school gas pumps filled with corn. He won his second race at Iowa Speedway on Sunday on his second try at the track, beating Ryan Briscoe to the checkered flag by 5 seconds. “I get lucky enough to be in good cars here,” said Franchitti, who didn’t race at Iowa last season because he was racing in NASCAR. “And I’ve got a different way of setting the car up here than normal, and it seems to work very well.” Franchitti took the lead for good on lap 200 after he gained track position on a speedy green-flag pit stop.
