Third Root Community Health Center sits comfortably in the middle of a neighborhood saturated with cultural, economic and social diversity, an area of Brooklyn referred to as Flatbush, Kensington or Ditmas Park. We believe every neighborhood should have a friendly and financially accessible resource for wellness and healthcare, and hope to be one such model for our area off of Cortelyou Road. Being a Community Health Center means providing quality, continuous care — not just in the office or in the clinic, but in the neighborhood. It means thinking of health within a person’s body and within a community, and working toward the vitality of both. Third Root strives to be a welcoming clinic for many different social and cultural communities.
