The first part is easy. See the link below. Being about 85 miles in radius, Chiron is small compared to other asteroids and extremely far away. Also it has been found to have a tail it is now classified a comet. Why a pebble like Chiron should be such a factor for astrology, I can’t say. People just like to make things up. Whatever attributes astrologers give it once belonged to some other planet. There are at least eight hunks of rock that are larger than Pluto. Only two, our Moon and Mercury are used for astrology. Size does not matter?
