Why are adolescents encouraged not to engage into sexual activities?
Sex is unsafe at a young age as one is not fully informed and not prepared for it biologically and emotionally. Adolescence is the period between childhood and adulthood and sex at such an early age is unsafe for both girls/boys. The genitals and anus of young people are very delicate and they can be easily hurt. There is always the chance of getting sexually transmitted infections including HIV and unwanted pregnancies through unsafe practices. If adolescents are asked not to have sex, it is to protect them from running into complications.
