Why are Blacksburg High students moving to the Blacksburg Middle facility?

0

Montgomery County lost the use of Blacksburg High School when the gymnasium collapsed on February 13, 2010. As a result, the school division needed to find a building that would house more than 1,100 high school students. The school board determined that Blacksburg Middle School would be the best temporary housing solution for high school students and that the middle students could temporarily be housed at Old Christiansburg Middle School.
