Why are duplicate aircraft ads sometimes listed?

0

Aircraft ads are often listed on multiple sites, and therefore they are listed multiple times on GPS, once for each site. Although we understand that it is frustrating to see duplicate ads, it’s not always possible to identify them (by s/n or registration, etc.). Even when we know that it’s the same aircraft, we have a moral dilemma of which sites’ ads we would leave out: we have a policy not to favour one site over another. In any case, other search engines (such as Google) typically display duplicate results when necessary, and we are in the same situation. We do however, try to make every effort to remove duplicate ads within the same site, although this is not always possible. In many cases, a single broker may be selling two separate aircraft that “look the same” to us (i.e. same model & year), but with individual characteristics that may be interesting to buyers. Lastly, removing “duplicates” may be a disservice to you!

What is your question?

*Sadly, we had to bring back ads too. Hopefully more targeted.
