Why are men scared of beautiful women?
It is a fear of failure. Men, by tradition, are usually required to make all of the first moves, and women can do the picking and choosing. This means that women have the luxury of being able to say yes or no, and men bear the brunt of any brusque rejections and bad feelings. Men strongly desire beautiful women though, it is hardwired into us. A pleasant ‘yes’ or even some attention from a beautiful woman is a real spark for good feeling. However, since she is beautiful, a really attractive woman will probably get a lot of attention from men, and can thus be as choosy as she likes. I have known very beautiful women also to be hurtful and spiteful to the men they doesn’t like, taking advantage of them (when there is no need to be) and this is the fear that men have. The hurtful rejection, which can be humiliating. A positive yes feels great and can ‘confirm’ masculine attractiveness, but a hurtful no certainly doesn’t and can feel awful.
