Why are my tasks overdue after I chart on the PowerForm?

It is possible that one or more of the required fields was not completed before you signed the PowerForm. When you are completing a PowerForm, it pulls in the previously charted values; however, you must view each tab for it to save those values. You do not have to enter new data every time, but you do need to review the page by clicking on the tab/page for the values to be pulled forward. When you are charting the form, the section with required fields will be marked with a blue circle with an “x” to indicate that the section has required fields that have either not been charted or that the tab needs to be clicked on to “review” the data. Also note that required fields are yellow if no values have yet been entered. You can look for these incomplete PowerForms in the “Overdue Tasks” list on the PAL, or as a red “paper” icon on the Clinical Forms tab.
