Why are National Tournaments so important to college coaches?
National tournaments are the best forms of competition you can play in. Organizations like the American Junior Golf Association and the Future Collegiate World Tour offer great tournaments to showcase your talents among other great players. National tournaments can be expensive, especially if they are out of your home state and you have to cover costs like traveling, hotel, and food. There is a great chance that these national tours will have a tournament in your home state and if not hopefully there will be one close by. Try to play in national tournaments to see where your talents stack up compared to other players.
