Why are people so vehemently opposed to declawing cats.?
Seriously. The de-claw ban will cause more cat deaths in shelters than anything else. People don’t realize that people take clawing cats to shelters where they will be killed. Isn’t it better for the cat to have a home and no claws than for them to have claws and no home? And, with today’s medicines, surgical procedures and care, the cats don’t suffer at all. The whole “How would you like your finger tips cut off” argument is insane. People do just fine without fingertips!!! So do cats. Arthritis worries? NEWS FLASH!!! All elderly cats get arthritis. It’s called getting old. You too will suffer someday!!! Get over it. Plus, there are pain killers. People are stupid about animals.
