WHY ARE POLYCARBONATE ROOFS FITTED ON THE OUTSIDE WITH CONSERVATORY COOLING FILM?
The main reason is due to all the sun’s heat and U.V. rays being reflected back into and getting trapped inside the hollow walls of the polycarbonate. This could lead to the polycarbonate being damaged, warping, turning yellow and becoming brittle, so, you would have to replace the whole roof, eventually . By having the conservatory cooling film applied externally, not only will it protect the polycarbonate, but give it a longer life span.
