Why are responsible bull breed owners still allowing ear cropping?

If the breed standard calls for it, then responsible breeders would crop the ears of dogs of their breeding. Good breeders would never breed against the standard as they would show/work/compete in sport to title their dogs. In England, Wales & Scotland, cropping & docking is illegal, but some breeders are taking their b*tches/litters to Southern Ireland where it is still legal to dock litters. Edit: As Greekman knows, I completely disagree that an undocked & uncropped Dobermann looks anything like a Coon hound!!!!
