Why are scammers or phishing websites abusing YAHOO ANSWERS?

Yahoo answers have a great index. I mean even on Google you can always find hits to most searches to Yahoo answers. I suppose they’re taking advantage of it to get hits of search engines. Theres this one jerk always making posts about some shoe website, like 20 times a day. Not really a way to stop it. Its so easy to create a Yahoo account. They can afford to create 100 accounts a day and dispose of them as soon as someone reports it.

Hm… most of these “scammers” you’re talking about are trying to get free advertising over here, without actually creating any value, but don’t worry about is as most of them actually get banned – Yahoo Answers is doing a great job on that I’m pretty sure about that – it’s just impossible to distinguish a scam and an honest help sometimes, but anyway, most of them actually do get banned.

What is your question?

*Sadly, we had to bring back ads too. Hopefully more targeted.
