Why are silencers important?
Noise is of primary concern in workplaces because it is one of the most common occupational health hazards. Constant exposure to a noisy environment has been medically linked to annoyance, irritability, stress, tension and hearing loss. Hearing loss is very serious and is the main health concern in heavy industrial and manufacturing environments. For the safety of all those exposed to high levels of noise (85dBA and above), silencers are installed to reduce noise to acceptable levels.
