Why are there colour variations in the Super Antioxidants Concentrates?
Both our Skin Recovery Super Antioxidant Concentrate and Skin Balancing Super Antioxidant Mattifying Concentrate contain the ingredient astaxanthin. This ingredient is part of the carotenoid family (found abundantly in carrots and salmon; this ingredient causes them to have an orange colour). Astaxanthin functions as an exceptionally potent, powerful antioxidant. Depending on fluctuations in the natural colouration of the raw material (one of the drawbacks of natural sources of antioxidants), it is possible that this ingredient will impart a light to vivid coral or orange hue. This colour is completely natural, and is not visible on skin once it is absorbed.
