There are two different types of motherboards used in the earlier Apple iMac G5 computers. The early 17 and 20 iMac G5 PPC models used a total of 20 capacitors of one type and 5 of the other type. Whereas, late model, newer Apple iMac G5 PPC computers require 24 capacitors of one type and 5 of the other type. Hence, the difference in the total amounts required for each kit. Also included are some other iMac capacitor kits for later versions of the G4 and G5 computers. Notes: All capacitors are brand new, low ESR, high temperature rated (105 degree C), motherboard grade and switching power supply grade ratings.
