Why aren’t there more pictures of quilts and members?
• Graphics use up server space which will create a maintenance issue over time for the site. “Keep it simple” is an important starting point for this site to ensure it is inexpensive and easy to maintain. • Web privacy policy dictates the need to protect the privacy of members & visitors. This includes any quilts and works by members or visitors. It is not appropriate to post graphics without explicit permission or if it may pose any kind of risk. Things like show and tell or trunk shows may “feel” public activities but are in fact private to our members and visitors. Graphics of past guild quilt shows are posted on the web site because that type of event is specifically public and so does not violate our privacy policy.
