Why build an artificial turf field?
• Artificial turf provides a safe, consistent playing surface that requires little maintenance and saves natural resources. • Artificial turf needs no rest: the field could be played on virtually every day of both the spring and fall seasons with no reduction in the quality of the surface. • Artificial turf will allow the turf field to become our varsity game field for field hockey, soccer and lacrosse. • Since snow and rain make an early spring season practice difficult in New England, an artificial surface will allow the spring season to begin on time regardless of the weather.
