Why can I see rainbow around a light bulb with only my left corrective contact lens?

I am definitely not an expert but I guess that your contact lens is acting as a prism, the white light on one side of the contact lens produce that rainbow on the other side (which happens to be your eye). I don’t think you should be worried about it, and it’s hard to tell the exact reason that makes this difference between your right and left contact lens. Could it be that the contact lenses are not identical? Some people who use glasses or eye contacts have different diopter for each eye (they may not even know it, but the optometrist who checked their vision sure know).
