Why can I hook my cell output tube to the engine vacuum?
Under no circumstances do you want to hook your hydroxy booster to an engine vacuum source. There are three important reasons for this. 1. Exposing the surface of a body of water to a pressure less than atmospheric results in a lowering of the boiling temperature. This is due to the fact that the drop in pressure allows water molecules to escape their liquid confinement and be liberated into a vaporous state more easily. To much vapor/steam will dilute the hydroxy mix and render it less effective by reducing its volatility. This will reduce or nullify any fuel efficiency gains you may other wise had had. In fact, to much steam and you may actually decrease your mpg results. The way to gain from water is by mist injection where the process can be monitored and controlled.
