This is a known NFS related bug of Redhat 7.1 running kernel 2.4.2. You need to reconfigure the kernel with a patch. • Install the file “linux-2.4.2-dir.dif” from ftp.icemcfd.com/pub/libraries area. • Go to “/usr/src/linux-2.4.2”, • Run “patch -p1 • Above may not work exactly if your current kernel is higher than 2.4.2. In that case, you might have to manually update the 4 files which have changed • Do “make xconfig” inside “/usr/src/linux-2.4.
