WHY CONVERT FROM DAT TO MPG?
A. Many will say that since the newer versions of Nero accept DAT files, there’s no point in converting to MPEG. First, this is only true for VERY recent versions of Nero (somewhat older versions would accept the DAT files but actually burn a VCD which was incompatible with some players). One other good reason to convert is if you use VCDGear, you can often tell when there are errors in the original file.
