Why did old messages suddenly reappear when I switched from POP to IMAP?

If you had the “Leave mail on server” option selected when using Eudora/POP or if you had Eudora set to NOT download messages over a certain size, then copies of old messages still reside on the Hawkmail server and are now displayed in your IMAP Inbox. You should already have copies of most of these messages stored in your POP mailboxes, and will choose to delete the Inbox copy.
