Why did richard nexion resign from being president?
Girl, his name is Richard M. Nixon show some respect for a person you could never be! He resigned to keep the prestige of the office of the Presidency in tact. Unlike someone else! He resigned because he lied about the Watergate cover up. It was the cover up not the brake in that he had no knowledge of. He was a great Republican who stopped the war in Viet Nam. He respected the military, expanded diplomacy with China and The USSR and exposed Hiss and Chambers as communist during HUAC. This fact alone is why the Democratic left hated him, because they support Communism.
