Why didn Japanese seize Hawaii when attacked Pearl Harbor?
I was always curious of it… With the mess they did in Pearl Harbor, their undeniable sea landing capabilities and skills it would be a piece of cake for them. Pacific Fleet was disabled, carriers saved by divine intervention better would did not approach to Hawaii to engage for their sake. They almost parallelly seized Phillippines, Malasia, Thailand, Indonesia and Hong Kong, assaulted Birma. They had Yammamoto’s combined fleet ready. They had enough forces to land in Hawaii. If they did they would had paralized the USA for years IMHO.
