Why didn Peter Pan marry Wendy Darling?
Wendy wanted to grow up, but Peter Pan didn’t, so when Wendy went home, she never got to go back to Neverland because, she grew up, got married, and had a child.
Her child was Jane. Not Moira. Peter went to go get Wendy, but accidently took Jane, mistaking her for Wendy. They had their adventure and Jane went home.
Jane grew up, got married, and had a kid aswell. Her child was Mararet (In the book) or Moira (In the movie ‘Hook’).
I don’t think her married Margaret/Moira, but they did fall in love.
after reading the book, i got the notion that peter pan was always meant to be there for wendy, and her family, and to give them all the experience of a lifetime, something that would change them and shape them all. peter never wanted to grow up. unfortunately the rest of us don’t have that choice.
