The option to install the SMO Generator should be visible when the “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\VisualStudio\6.0\Setup\Microsoft Visual Basic\ProductDir” registry key is found. Please use regedit to see if this key is present.
