Why do conservatives believe the economic crisis in the USA was Obamas fault…?
True conservatives don’t. That’s only the neocon extremists on this site. Real conservatives know that the problem goes all the way back to 1913, with the institution of the Federal Reserve Bank and in 1916 the national income tax. Only the irrational people on here blame it on one party or another. Those who blame it on the Democrats takeover of the government in 2007 believe that they turned a great successful economy completely around in 1 year. They blame Democrats for the changes in the CRA, when in truth the Republican controlled Congress refused to let any reform bills even out of committee. And the changes made under Clinton were done under a Republican Congress as well. Those who blame it all on the Republicans are equally irrational, since there have been many Congresses since 1913 and not all of them were Republican. The whole thing is a folly of errors that has been going on for decades. To blame either side exclusively is to ignore the facts.
