Why do gangsters wear baggy clothes?
I have asked a similar question to a group of young boys in my neighbourhood (who were white and mixed race) and was told it was because many of them do not wish to be associated with homosexuality as they felt that many homosexuals wear tight jeans to show off and define their butts in order to attract other men. In fact they referred to it as “tight, batty man jeans”! I must correct you however. It is not only gangsters who wear baggy clothes. These were kids between the ages of 13 and 17. None of them were gangsters. You are stereotyping here!
