Why do hamsters squeak?

0

Hamsters squeak as a sign of distress or a cry for help, if your hamster does squeak go to it immediately and see if anything is wrong, if you can see no injuries obviously, but it still squeaks when you pick him/her up again consult a vet to have an x-ray done or something. If nothing is wrong he/she was probably scared from something check it’s cage for spiders or other small/large insects. If it doesn’t squeak again your hamster was probably communicating with another hamster if you have one, or saying something even to you.
