Why do I get an internal read error had occurred, unable to load install instructions error?
This is a generic disc read error. It could indicate the temp folder is missing, the disk is full, or the temp folder is full, etc. Also, an anti-virus program may be interfering with the install. You could try opening the installer with WinZip and extracting the files into some temp folder and then run setup from that folder. Otherwise, try emptying out c:\documents and settings\user\local settings\temp folder or in IE go to Tools->Internet Options->Delete Files.
