Why do people celebrate Labor Day by taking it off?
Shouldn’t they work even harder on that day? After all it’s Labor Day! • Why does Cupid shoot people with arrows on Valentine’s Day? What does potentially serious bodily injury inflicted by flying arrows have to do with love? • I know what a treat is but what is a trick? Is it some kind of veiled threat? I don’t get the correlation between scary masks and candy. And who invented candy corn? Why do we only eat it once a year? Has anybody noticed that it doesn’t look, taste or smell anything like corn? • Is Santa a stalker? If not, how does he know when I’ve been sleeping, know when I’m awake and know if I’ve been bad or good? Why does he use the chimney instead of the door? Why the North Pole? Why fruit cake? Why stockings? Why elves? Why eggnog? I know what eggs are but what exactly is “nog”? Are the makers of candy corn and the makers of nog the same people?
