Why do teenagers engage themselves into different vices?
Not all teenagers do this but for the ones that do, it can be for many reasons or excuses they can come up with. Some have been seriously hurt, don’t know how to handle it, cannot turn to there parents for some reason and then decide to pick up a drug or drink. They believe this takes the pain away and continue doing it, not realizing this is only another problem they will have to deal with later. Some do it out of curiosity and get addicted right away. A vice can be anything from booze to food to sex, all deadly in the end. Many do not have the support they need at home or don’t feel they do. The “whys” are many for young and old and all excuses, whether valid or not and some even get cheered on by their peers, which then makes it difficult to stop. Whatever the vice, if it is dealt with sooner rather than later, one can continue on to have a great life and leave the past behind.
