Why do the graphics disappear in a converted document?

0

Graphics seem to disappear in a converted document when the graphics display feature is turned off or when the graphics filters needed to import the images are not installed. To turn on the graphics display feature • On the Tools menu, click Options. • On the View tab, clear the Picture placeholders check box. To view the list of installed graphics filters, point to Picture (Insert menu), and then click From File. The Files of type box lists the graphics filters installed. Most of the graphic filters that users need are included with Office 2000, but additional graphics filters are included in the Microsoft Office Converter Pack.
