Why do women wear revealing clothes and very short skirts……?
I am just about to bring down the rage of the thumbs downers upon me. I am an elderly woman and did indeed wear a mini-skirt in the 1960s when it was the height of fashion. I didn’t realise at that time what effect it might have on the male population, it was just fashion to me. I actually really thought that only young boys my own age were looking at me at all. I was totally naive. I think that things today have gone far too far. A lot of young women are in a state of half undress as they walk around the city, especially in the evenings. It is no use to say that they should be able to wear what they like just because they can. Males are visually excited sexually, far more so than women. I am not for one minute suggesting that all men are beasts but some are and some are mentally unstable. I believe it is the responsibility of women to dress modestly. I don’t mean wear a burkha, of course not, just a degree of common sense.
