Why do you think that emo has become bigger than punk rock with the younger crowd?
PJ: Once little kids stop crying about problems that they don’t have, I guess real punk can make a comeback. Matt: (laughs) Yeah, the emo kids control the scene these days. Jason: We all play shows together. It’s not a big deal. A lot of those kids don’t drink or smoke, and they’re serious about actually putting on shows.
